This Mission is all about those moody, dramatic moments when the dark skies arrive… storm clouds, twilight, silhouettes, and night scenes that make aviation feel a little… spooky👻. Whether it’s a fighter slicing through dusk, a heavy disappearing into cloud, or a burner lighting up the horizon, show us your best shots under dark skies! ⚡️ Mission Tips: 🎯 Dusk and storm light give the richest tones — shoot when contrast between sky and subject is strongest. 💪 Slight underexposure keeps colour depth and preserves highlight detail. 🖌 In editing, bring out texture in clouds and shadows to add structure and intensity. 🗣 Share the story — was it moody weather, perfect timing, or creative grading that made the shot? 💡 Did You Know? Shooting during blue hour - the short period after sunset - gives you even, low-contrast light that’s perfect for moody aviation shots. It’s one of the best times to capture silhouettes or experiment with colour balance before the sky goes fully dark.
