Good questions
What communities ask us before they start.
What does it cost?
Every photographer is free on Kōlab. If your group isn't run for profit, it's free for you too. If you're a business, like workshops, tours or a brand, get in touch and we'll work out something fair.
Do my members have to leave our group chat?
Not at all. Keep the chat, the Facebook group or whatever already works. Kōlab is just where the shots go.
Does everyone need the app?
No. Kōlab works in the browser as well as on iPhone and Android, so photographers can scan the code and join without downloading anything.
Can it be just for our group?
Yes. Make the Mission invite only and only photographers with your code can add shots to it. Or leave it open and let anyone on Kōlab join in.
Who owns the shots?
The photographers do, always. Nothing gets cropped, they can delete anything whenever they like, and we'll never use their shots to train generative AI or sell or license them to anyone else.
