Some moments make you instinctively lower the camera and just watch. This Mission is all about those close pass moments, when an aircraft cuts through the frame, fills your view, and makes you feel right there in the action! (Or perhaps a little too much in the action😬) It doesn’t matter what’s flying or where you shot it. If it felt close, fast, loud or intense, join this Mission! ⚡️ Mission Tips: 🎯 Get in the moment: low passes, approaches, fly-bys, departures or taxi-bys that feel right on top of you. 📐 Use perspective: longer lenses for compression, wider angles for drama - both can make a pass feel close. 📸 Any aircraft counts: jets, airliners, props, helis, GA… if it made you look twice, post it. 🎨 Edit for impact: contrast, clarity and timing help sell speed, proximity and presence. 🗣 Tell us the moment: what made this pass feel special? 💡 Did You Know? Photos that feel “close” often rely more on timing and perspective than distance. The right moment, lens choice and framing can make an aircraft feel right on top of you, even when it isn’t.
